Only two microphones were used to capture these intimate, small group sets, and several sound compromising steps typical in mass-produced CD projects were eliminated. The result is a recording of exceptional quality. As a vocalist, Gomez is worthy of comparison to such nueva cancion exponents as Mercedes Sosa and Soledad Bravo."
